You might have heard about this new trend in the information security industry. It’s called insider threats; and in fact, it’s something we should all be worried about.

I don’t want to sound like that guy telling the story of the impending doom on our sensitive data. Because the fact is with today’s technology advancements, we can start to welcome a quick exit for these very undesirable words: data loss.

I believe the road to a formidable data loss prevention strategy is within the scope of possibility. Technology advancements like machine learning, user behavior analytics, user access management and user activity monitoring will put businesses on a progressive path to keeping their data.
